CenterPlace Health awards staff professional development grant to Jacqueline Galan, Dental Assistant
Sarasota, Fla., September –, 2022 – CenterPlace Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center, is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2022 Christine Sensenig Employee Recognition Award. Jacqueline Galan was awarded this professional development grant at the organization’s September Board meeting. The Christine Sensenig Employee Recognition Award honors a CenterPlace Health Employee that demonstrates a commitment to the organization’s mission and potential for advancement. Staff members are nominated annually, and the award is given in September of each year. The award is a $1,000 grant, to be used for professional development in the recipient’s field of work.
Jacqueline Galan works as a Dental Assistant Level II and has been at CenterPlace Health for over three years. The grant will be used to advance Galan’s skills through work-related education and training. Her goal is to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and become a dentist. Established and fully funded by the CenterPlace Health Board of Directors, this scholarship honors Christine Sensenig, a previous Board Member, for her leadership and contributions to CenterPlace Health. Sensenig served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for several critical years during the organization’s growth and development.

The grant covers work-related education and training that can be used by the employee for professional growth and improved service to CenterPlace Health patients.
